Deciding to place your faith in Jesus is a big deal. Jesus resets our relationship with God as completely forgiven – a new start; and gives us his Spirit to help us live as a believer – a new life. Jesus becomes your Lord and Saviour.
To remind us of the good news Jesus brings, below are two summaries of the what Jesus has achieved for you, then a prayer you can pray to become a Christian. If you aren’t already connected on campus, find other Christians at your uni to encourage you in your first steps as a new believer.
Uncover is all about helping you check out the evidence for Jesus from Luke’s Gospel so that you can respond to him.

“FOR THE SON OF MAN CAME TO SEEK AND TO SAVE THE LOST.” (LUKE 19:10)
In response to what he has done, he wants you to:
Two Ways to Live is another summary of the gospel. It starts at creation, and shows how Jesus’ death and resurrection is the good news we must trust in for eternal life.
Two Ways to LiveIf you would like to accept God’s invitation to surrender your life and place your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, here is the prayer you can pray to become a Christian.
Dear Father,
Dear Father, I’m sorry I’ve been living my life without you as my God.I admit I deserve your judgement, and I cannot fix this myself. Please forgive me.
Thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place.Thank you that Jesus rose from the dead and is alive today. Please help me now to live with Jesus as my Saviour and Lord.
Amen.
If you have decided to follow Jesus, that’s a fantastic and life-changing decision. Like all big decisions we usually need a little help getting started well.
We encourage you to tell a Christian friend at uni.
